In a much-anticipated release, ‘The Shib’ magazine has unveiled its 25th edition, continuing its tradition of celebrating the dynamic Shiba Inu (SHIB) community and its groundbreaking initiatives. This issue highlights the Shiba spirit in a prelude to the upcoming Blockchain Futurist Conference in Toronto, scheduled for August 2024.

Shiba Inu & K9 Finance Gear Up For Global Stage

One of the key features in this ‘The Shib‘ edition is the detailed overview of the K9 Finance DAO’s hackathon. Hence, Buzz, the pseudonymous founder of K9 Finance, provided exclusive insights into the motivations behind hosting this innovative event. “The DAO mission for K9 is to bring DeFi to Shibarium, and an excellent way to do this is to incentivize developers with a bounty to build products on Shibarium,” Buzz explained.

Moreover, the hackathon, set to be a highlight at the Blockchain Futurist Conference, aims to attract builders and developers to the Shibarium ecosystem. Furthermore, it will also encourage them to deploy useful products that integrate K9’s offerings. In addition to the hackathon, the magazine sheds light on the efforts of CryptoQueen, a prominent speaker at the conference, who will represent the Shib Army.

Another exciting feature in this edition is the collaboration with Tangem, a project recognizing Shiba Inu’s role in increasing cryptocurrency adoption. Moreover, Tangem’s support showcases the growing influence and credibility of Shiba Inu in the crypto world, reinforcing its position as a major player.

Additionally, the magazine introduces ShiBulls, an NFT collection on Shibarium, offering a unique staking protocol. As the Shib Army stays tuned for the next phase of the ShiBulls roadmap, the excitement around this project reflects the community’s enthusiasm for innovative NFT ventures.

SHIB Team Becomes Major Sponsor

The 25th edition also reminisces about Shiba Inu’s meteoric rise and its previous triumphs at major events. Last year’s ETHToronto saw Shiba Inu transform the conference into a carnival of innovation. It drew crowds and setting social media ablaze. Hence, this year’s Blockchain Futurist Conference is expected to surpass that success, with Shiba Inu not just participating but also being a major sponsor.

“We’re thrilled about Tutti Frutti Women’s partnership with the Blockchain Futurist Conference, especially with Shiba Inu sponsoring the event for the second year.” said Andreia, the founder of Tutti Frutti Women (TFW). TFW is a project advocating for cancer awareness and women in blockchain. The TFW founder added, “It feels like we’re all part of the same family.”

Furthermore, the magazine also highlights Shibacals, a project that brings digital identities into tangible reality through exemplary craftsmanship. “At the main Shiba Inu booth, you can find an incredible assortment of toys and physicals, representing some of Shiba Inu’s most influential projects,” Sentinel, co-founder of Shibacals, shared. This initiative aims to unite various communities within the Shib ecosystem by producing IRL representations of their brands.
